Instagram model niece Waidhofer was found dead in her house in Houston

Model niece Waidhofer was found dead at her home in Houston at the age of 31.

The Instagram influencer, known for openly telling his fans about his fight for mental health, died by suicide, his family said.

“Unfortunately, Nichtová took her own life after a long struggle with mental problems,” the Waidhofer family said on Thursday through TMZ.

“He is very open to his followers about his struggle, although he wants to help followers who are also suffering,” says his family.

Police in response to social control allegedly discovered a young model last month. His family would be worried after deleting almost all of his photos and videos on social media, a move that sparked widespread speculation among fans in late May that he might have died.

The Waidhofer family says they now plan to start a non-profit organization in his honor to raise mental health awareness.

Although he didn’t seem to tell his 4.2 million Instagram fans about his fight, his loved ones made it clear that they wanted him to remember more than that.

“My cousin is more than his fight. She is beautiful and kind, sensitive and fun, creative and talented, generous and compassionate, thoughtful and challenging,” the family said in a statement, adding that she is now “free of herself.”
